Brock Move-In Day: September 2nd from 8AM -12PM
Just like last year, our Executive Team will come together to support our baby Badgers as they leave the nest and settle in their new homes at Brock! Along with other club members, we will assist students as they move into residence.
Vendor & Clubs Fair: September 4th & 5th from 10AM - 4PM @ Weather Station Field
Vendor Fair is the best way to become familiarized with the multitude of services, programs, and organizations available to students. Be sure to check it out because contests and giveaways will be happening throughout the course of each day! Don't forget to pop by the Golden Key booth for everything you need and want to know about our organization. Ask us as many questions as you'd like and see how you can get involved to make the most out of your education. Both Golden Key & Non-Golden Key Members are welcome!
New Member Recognition Event (NMRE): November - Date, Time & Place TBA!
Each year our Chapter recognizes Brock University students who have joined the Golden Key International Honour Society. These students have achieved status within the top 15% of their faculty, and are awarded for their academic success. This event is the first step to networking with Chapter leaders and other honorary members, and introduces students to all the benefits of a Golden Key membership. RSVP details are to follow!
CANCON 2019: February @ Niagara Falls, Ontario - Dates and Times are TBA!
Yes, you read this correctly, this year's annual Canadian Summit will be hosted by your Brock Chapter at the one and only Niagara Falls! Meet new people and expand your horizons as you take advantage of the opportunity to attend workshops and engage with keynote speakers. Learn from others and unlock your own potential as you learn what it takes to further your success and to become a positive leader in life. Keep an eye out on our social media pages and stay tuned for further updates!

Brock Move-In Day: September 3rd
A day when we come together to support our baby badgers in their first endeavors at Brock! We come together with other clubs on campus to move-in students living in residence.
Vendor Fair: September 5-6th
Vendor Fair is the best way to become familiarized with the multitude of services, programs, and organizations available to students. Be sure to check out both days because contests and giveaways will be happening all day long!
Brock Cares: September 9th
Volunteers spend the day in the community volunteering at various organizations and events, which in the past have included the Mayhome Foundation, Morningstar Mill, Lincoln County Humane Society, Heartland Forest Annual Hoedown Event, Niagara Wine Festival, Brock's United Way Campaign, and so much more.
Brock Student Leadership Network: September 19th
The Brock University Student Life and Community Experience office has invited us to join the Brock Student Leadership Network on Tuesday, September 19th for the Leadership Launch. Meet other like-minded individuals who are also great leaders & earn credit towards your campus wide co-curriculum on ExperienceBU.
Golden Key Hosts Isaac's Night: November 9th at Isaac's Bar and Grill, 19+ Event
Golden Key in conjunction with the Brock University Student Union & Isaacs will be hosting Isaacs Night, with all collected proceeds going to the Spark-A-Change foundation!
Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade: November 18th
Is Santa having a hard time deciding whether to put you on his naughty or nice list? Well then, help him make the right decision by walking with the Brock University Golden Key in the City of Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade. Dress warm in case the warm fuzzy feeling of being an active member of your community isn't already warm enough!

Hamilton Campus Mental Health First Aid Training: March 3rd - March 4th
For $110 you can become certified in Mental Health First Aid Youth by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. This two-day course builds on participants’ existing skills to increase comfort and confidence in working with students and youth (ages 12-24) experiencing mental health problems; such as depression, anxiety, deliberate self-harm, and/or psychosis. Mental health problems often first develop during adolescence or early adulthood, with half of all mental health problems beginning at age 14, and 75% beginning by age 24. Learn to spot the signs and symptoms of potential common mental health problems and how to respond to the five basic actions of mental health first aid. Participants will learn and practice the principles and basic skills of Mental Health First Aid Youth.
Board Game & Raffle Fundraiser: March 19th
Come to Pond Inlet for a fun night filled with board games sponsored by Mugs N Meeples. There will be free food, a raffle, and prizes! All proceeds will be going to Feeding America and The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) in support of Hurricane Relief Efforts.
Candy Guessing Game Fundraiser: March 29th to April, 5th MCA Hallway
To wrap up the school year, we are hosting one more fundraiser to raise money for Hurricane Relief Efforts.
For $1, all you have to do is guess how many Jolly Ranchers are in the candy jar. The person with the closest guess will win the candy, as well as $50 in PC gift cards, generously donated by Larry Antonio, store manager of Zehrs at the Geneva/Fairview Mall location.
So before exams, take advantage of this final opportunity to contribute to a good cause! All proceeds are going to Feeding America and The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI). All efforts are appreciated!
