What is Golden Key International Honour Society?
A non-profit organization that recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among university students from all academic disciplines.

Is it well known around the world?
Yes, GK was founded in 1977 and became International in 2001. There are over 400 chapters worldwide, in 8 countries; USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.

I received the email invitation, how to proceed in accepting the offer?

Can I accept the offer online or do I have to send it in by mail?
You can accept your offer online by following the steps on the invitation email you received.

What if my grades drop next year, will I be kicked out of the society?
No, as this is a lifetime membership, it does not matter if your grades drop. Once you are in, you are in for life.

Is it worth it paying the $90 lifetime membership fee?
Definitely! It is a small price to pay for all the lifetime benefits you will be receiving in terms of discounts and opportunities.

Is there going to be volunteering opportunities at the Brock Chapter of GK?
Yes, all you have to do is like the Brock University Golden Key Page and you will be updated about all the events going on at your chapter.

Do you automatically get offered the scholarships once you become a member or do you have to apply for the scholarships?
Once you become a member, you will receive GK newsletters by email listing the different scholarships available.  Then on the GK website, you can read them in more detail and determine whether you are eligible to apply.

What activities and events will the Brock Chapter be having this year?
